Avery County Agricultural & Horticultural Fair
The 19th annual Avery A&H Fair will be held on September 6th through September 10th at Heritage Park in Newland, NC. Generous gifts from local business and citizens are a major part of the success each year the fair is open. There are several different options in sponsoring this year, t-shirts ads, tabloid ads, corporate membership, family membership and individual membership. This year there will be opportunities to sponsor single and double pins that house animals. A sign of the sponsoring business will be posted accordingly to the choice of sponsorship.
The presence of local community businesses and citizens are highly valued at the Avery A&H Fair. Not only is the fair being assisted in the contribution, but local High School students are given a chance to apply for a scholarship the fair sponsors. This gives children a chance to attend college and further their education.

Gate Dates and Times: Tuesday thru Friday 5pm – 10pm
Saturday: Noon till 10pm
Rides will be open daily at 6pm, Saturday 1pm and 6pm
Ride bracelets available daily
School Days- Wednesday & Thursday
Rides will be open 12 noon till 2pm for $7.00 (Thursday ONLY)Daily Happenings
- Petting Zoo, Rides, Box Car Racing, Cross Cut Saw Competition

- Thursday Night -Crossroads Band featuring Cory Pitman
- Friday Night - Peace Keepers Bluegrass Band (made up of local law enforcement)
